# Bots

A bot is a player who was added to the battle. It's a regular Noft. One of the thousands available for purchase on [Marketplace](https://noftgames.io/marketplace). You can even buy it if you'd like.

We add the bots to the battles when players don't join long enough. It helps to start battles more regularly, and you as a participant don't need to wait. Bots cannot win prizes and gain experience too.
