# Do you have a Noft or Don't?

The main gameplay mechanics are the battles. You can enter a battle with or without your Noft. In fact, whether you have Noft or not makes no difference. If you haven't a Noft, rent it!

Nofts that are rented accumulate experience and grow the same way as non-rented ones.

This is an opportunity for those who do not have Nofts to participate. However, owners can take advantage of it as well. The difference between playing with a rental and your own:

| Off-chain & On-chain battles modes          | Off-chain battles modes only                                                                                                     |
| You can choose a specific Noft              | Choose from three random ones. Playing twice for one is extremely unlikely                                                       |
| Yours forever until I'll sold it            | Yours for 6 hours                                                                                                                |
| Noft gets to experience and gains abilities | Noft gets to experience and upgrades, but you won't benefit from it since it's the first and last time you play this one exactly |

However, do not be fooled. It is unlikely you can choose a Noft for rent and play only by it - three randomly selected Nofts are offered for rent. Nofts are selected from the ranks of Warrior and below. Also, with no more than 10,000 experience - third level and down. The probability of a second drop is extremely low. Three out of a thousand and a half.

Only Nofts from the [Marketplace](https://noftgames.io/marketplace) are available for rent, i.e., those none has purchased. In the future, we will add the possibility to lease/rent someone's Nofts.
